Mahjong scoring is its own world. Different across HK, Japanese (riichi), American, Chinese Classical, and a half-dozen regional variants. They share one thing: at the end of a hand, four players exchange points, and someone has to track the running total.

scoremy.games does not care which variant you play. Type the per-hand result and we keep the running balance.

How Mahjong scoring works

  • After each hand, type the net change for each player.
  • In HK / Cantonese: faan converts to points via your table's exchange chart.
  • In Japanese (riichi): han plus fu via the scoring table. Payment shifts depending on tsumo vs ron.
  • Use round mode for a per-hand audit trail (handy when someone wants to settle up at the end).

Why scoremy.games for Mahjong

  • Variant-agnostic. Type the result, we add it up.
  • Four-player layout matches the table.
  • Round-by-round log doubles as a settlement worksheet.
